IEQAB Global Accreditation Alliance has formed a Framework with her Global Alliance that is known as “IEQAB Global Alliance Qualify and Certify Framework i.e. GAQCF”:
GAQC Framework
Micro-credentials, nano credentials, nano degrees, digital badges, non-formal credentials assessment and validation process. Micro-credentials directs for tailored learning experiences that can be stacked towards formal qualifications, enhancing employability, quality assurance* and professional skill development. “Micro-credentials are flexible, non-formal learning opportunities that provide credit for specific learning outcomes, often designed to complement traditional qualifications. They are recognized as part of a broader framework for lifelong learning and can be issued by various providers, including educational institutions and professional organizations.” Integration scope – Micro-credentials can be integrated into national and international learning ecosystems, addressing to overcome barriers to access and providing pathways for lifelong learning.
GAQCF Framework solely belongs to the intellectual property of The IEQAB or The IEQAB Global Alliance where “Certify” means to officially recognize someone or something for meeting specific standards, credits, while “qualify” refers to becoming eligible or competent for a role or activity through meeting necessary conditions. For example, a professional might be certified in a certain skill, indicating they have passed tests or met criteria set by a certifying body or training institutions. On the other hand, to qualify means to meet the necessary conditions or criteria for something, which could be entering a competition, accessing a new job level, or undertaking a specific role. Micro-credentials and non-formal credentials assessment is important nowadays for many reasons, mainly focusing career advancement or skills development and helping global Human Resources integration* into the international job market through skilled employee recruitment to fulfill the qualified professionals gaps, assurance of an effective and timely employment most of the busy employer is seeking recognized Qualification: Diploma, Degree, Professional Diploma, Professional Course Completion, Certification from diverse fields etc. The GAQC frameworks are essential for promoting inclusive and innovative learning experiences, particularly in rapidly evolving International labor markets.
IEQAB Global Alliance herewith clarify that the respective candidate’s Micro-credentials, non-formal’s previously obtained course completion or partial program completion certification will gain formal credits through GAQCF assessment for further studies or employment, this process will aid them to develop their minimum set of requirements for tertiary level study or to acquire professional level qualification from a recognized institution(s) or Technical –vocational institution(s). For instance, due to lack of Diploma Certification or Professional Certification – admission to the desired levels such as Level 4, Level 5, Level 6, someone may not be able to be admitted direclty in the graduate programs or tertiary level of programs.
Through the MoU/MRA IEQAB or IEQAB Global Allinace propose to the potential parties to be involved so that Non Formal, micro-credentials framework may be established to validate skills learned outside from traditional degree programs. It translates targeted, short-term learning – such as industry certifications from training program or digital online training, CPD – continuing professional Development or community workshops – into verified digital badges or digital certifications through Bar code and digital signatures. Aiming to assist those micro-credentials, non formal certificates to be recognized by the employers and institutions for further study or higher education and professional qualification. IEQAB wishes to solely or may be jointly issue certificates to the students or learners from an official endorsement and assessment, such micro-credential’s validation certification may be obtained digitally from IEQAB or Authorized IEQAB Partner Alliance jointly (upon joint signatures). For a validation certification: An assessment, micro-credentials evaluation fees shall be applied through an email correspondence with the respective service seekers or clients.
Notes: i. Quality Assurance* : They are underpinned by quality standards to ensure their recognition and value in the global labor market.
ii. Integration*: Micro-credentials can be integrated into the national and international learning ecosystems, addressing barriers to access and providing pathways for lifelong learning outcomes.
